Modern-day producers must learn from Ramanaidu

Veteran Telugu actor Sharath Babu, who plays an important role in producer D. Ramanaidu's upcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Nenem Chinna Pillana", says modern-day producers need to emulate him to be successful.

"Even if today's producers emulate half of what this man (Ramanaidu) has been doing as a producer, we will have a very successful industry. I think all producers should take a leaf out of his book and learn the art to be an effective producer," Sharath told.

Ramanaidu, who has been producing films for nearly five decades, has delivered films across multiple languages such as Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada among many more. "Nenem Chinna Pillana" is his 147th film.

"I don't think it's about the number of films he has produced. It's about the experience that he gained in the process. It's about success, failure and the setbacks he must have encountered as a producer. His years of experience can come in handy for several producers," he added.

Some of the best films of Ramanaidu, who produces films under the banner Suresh Productions, include "Prem Nagar", "Jeevana Tarangalu" and "Soggadu".

In Hindi, he is known for producing films such as "Anari", "Tohfa" and "Dildaar".
